Training this week felt great. Not only has my pace improved to the point where I was earlier in the year, but my stamina is also climbing nicely. While I am a little disappointed at the month of August where I was only able to run 30 miles for the entire month, it is very nice to get running again.
I am looking at my calendar a little more seriously for the next 3 to 4 months and thinking seriously about a few events. In 3 weeks there is the Halloween Half Marathon in Jensen Beach, December 5th is the Marathon of the Palm Beaches, January 1 is the Peanut Island 24 hour run and the Disney Marathon is the following week, and then there is the culmination of this years training to run the Iron Horse 100 mile ultra. I am not 100% sure what event(s) I will be entering, but I must decide on some of them soon. Stay tuned.
