Week 44, 2010 training summary

OK, the big training is done after this week.  Now it is time to taper for the Space Coast Marathon. Hard to believe it is only a mere 20 days away.

The training this week felt great, despite being a whopping 62 miles. This is the most I have ever ran in a single week, but I feel good. I am excited to see how I peak out during the taper, if all goes according to plan.

  1. I hate tapering for 20 days. I pretend my long run 14 days out – though shorter – is still part of the “build” just to fool myself.

    Doesn’t work.
