OK, the big training is done after this week. Now it is time to taper for the Space Coast Marathon. Hard to believe it is only a mere 20 days away.
The training this week felt great, despite being a whopping 62 miles. This is the most I have ever ran in a single week, but I feel good. I am excited to see how I peak out during the taper, if all goes according to plan.

WOW!!!! 62 miles is amazing. Congrats.
You are super ready- all your hard work is totally going to pay off!
I hate tapering for 20 days. I pretend my long run 14 days out – though shorter – is still part of the “build” just to fool myself.
Doesn’t work.
