This week I prepared to go on a Colorado ski adventure where I will ski for the very first time in my life. I am very excited to try something new and may even get to meet Jill from Denver while I am there. I intended to make this a 68 mile week, but ended up skipping the 22 mile run on Saturday because I was simply too tired, and wanted to make sure I made it to the airport on time. I guess it is not a total loss with still getting 44 miles in though.

I hope you do get to meet Jill, that will be fun.
I have been skiing 2 times, in Breckenridge, and in Utah. I was surprised. I went out thinking, I am a runner, this will not be a problem….uhhh, yes…it’s a problem. I was so scared, I had my the ski s in “pizza” formation the entire time (on the brakes). Even the 2nd trip, still in the “pizza” formation the whole time. I’m thinking skiing is not really my thing. I enjoyed it, but I’m scared of speed. Hope you do better than me. I’m sure you will. I think maybe snow shoeing may be more my speed, but I am not sure I have the strength or endurance to do much of that. Let us know how it goes.
