This is a reduced mileage week for me, however 13.1 of those miles make up my first 1/2 marathon race.

As my long runs increase in size, so does my excitement (or is it apprehension?)
As I approach my first weekend long run of 17 miles I feel excited, and a little apprehensive. I suppose this is natural as anyone is about to undertake challenges that were previously not thought of.
Finally registered for the Palm Beach marathon
I finally committed and registered for the Palm Beach marathon on December 6th, 2009.

My training summary for Week 40
My mind/body is telling me to STOP!
As my weekly runs start to total 30 miles and more my body is really revolting, or is it my mind? Many friends sent me feedback to questions, and I share their advice.
Lesson learned about fast food, and proper rest, before long runs
My near death (or so it seemed) experience with poor nutrition the day prior to a long run.
Mid-week runs getting longer, need some sleep.
With my mid-week runs getting longer it is clear that I need to think more about recovery, so that I can function at work.
